To create an eye-catching social media advertisement that makes people think when they see it.
ROLE: Designer, Advertising conceptulisation
During my first design degree, majoring in advertising meant hours every week breaking down ads, watching award winning commercials, and surprise activities of drawing advertising concepts. The task involved a time limit where we had to think and sell an idea for 10 minutes and draw it for another 10. We then pass this drawing to the person next to us so they can grade it and give it feedback.
This practice set the foundation to develop ads such as 'Brain Juice'.
I was searching through mock-ups online when I saw a juice can sample and had a sudden idea. The ideas was to show a realistic like juice brand that serves as a creativity booster. It is then accompanied with the text, 'If it was only that easy.' as its main headline. Then I had our logo placed at the bottom with the text, 'Get creative services today.'
Simple, minimal yet gets the point across. The ad was resized to be posted on Facebook and Instagram.
The ad produced a number of design inquiries from the Philippines and Australia.
